Funnel-web spiders (family Atracidae) are possibly the most notorious spiders in the world, and have become the subject of many an urban legend. As such, it can be rather hard at times to sort the facts from over-embellished stories. Do funnel-webs chase people? Are they spreading from Sydney? Is a bite from one certain death if you don't make it to hospital in time? In this video, I'll be covering five common myths about these highly venomous spiders, and why they are wrong.
