In part 3 of our interivew Miguel and I talk about the struggles our parents experienced as immigrants in western countries and its devastating affect on their mental health. Immigrants have a tough time integrating into their new country's community and its culture. They experience racism, violence and rejection, have language barriers preventing them from being able to communicate freely and if they have children it makes for an overwhelming experience. These factors certainly exasperated our mother's mental health.

Miguel also shares the activities and resources he has sought in his journey toward healing.
