We arrived at the Tayrona National Park! We really wanted to see this place in Colombia, and it was definitely completely worth it.

The Tayrona National Park is a protected area located on the slopes of the Colombian Sierra Nevada, about 1 hour from the City of Santa Marta, it is truly a natural paradise of the Colombian Caribbean 🌴

The park has an area of ​​15,000 hectares, of which 3,000 are marine area. It is home to a wide variety of ecosystems, from virgin beaches to humid and cloud forests, including mangroves, lagoons and ravines.

To get to this place, the easiest thing is to do it from Bogotá by plane to the city of Santa Marta and then take a taxi to one of the park entrances. The best known is "Zaino", which is located 32 kilometers from Santa Marta (this place is also the gateway to the route to the "lost city")

The trip is made daily with frequencies of approximately 1 hour, for only US$15 per passenger. The trip lasts about 4, 5 hours and it leaves you in the city of Santa Marta, from where you must take a taxi that will take you for about US$40 to the park or its surroundings.
