Continuing with our tour of Colombia, we arrive at Cartagena de Indias. It was our second time in this city and we like it so much that we will surely be many more times!

Cartagena is a large city, and has several sectors to stay, all very different. Our recommendation is to stay in the walled city, it is the recognized tourist sector of Cartagena and has a lot of hotel and gastronomic offerings. It is also safe to walk through its streets at night and very walkable. We stayed in a hostel in the heart of the walled city, called Viajero Hostel Cartagena, which is very entertaining if you are thinking of sharing a room with other travelers, but very quiet if you go as a couple and stay in a private room with a bathroom. since these rooms are in a building separate from the party atmosphere. If you are looking for a hotel, "Santa Catalina" is very nice and very well located just steps from the clock tower.

Our recommendations:
- Restaurants. There are many and of very good quality, but without a doubt we recommend "Andrés Cartagena", from the Andrés carne de Res chain and "Mistura"
- For a night out: Alquimico
- Take the tours to the Rosario Islands (but I hope they have a nice day)
- Make the Chiva Rumbera
