I've moved on to Floor Exercise for my Gymnastics History series on Instagram reliving the routines of all the World and Olympic champions since 1972.

The Floor Final at 2003 Worlds in Anaheim 🇺🇸 was a very interesting one, with a case potentially being made for any of the medalists to have won. All three had a 10.0 SV and were pretty even IMO.

This is the order they competed in the Final, with the actual results being the following:

Elena Gomez 🥉 9.675
Cătălina Ponor 🥈 9.700
Daiane dos Santos 🥇 9.737

Personally, I would have had reigning World Champion Elena Gomez first. She had a refinement and polish I found lacking in Ponor and dos Santos. I would have had dos Santos second and Ponor third.
