Capturing the Calgary Stampeders opening sequence ahead of their game against the Montreal Alouettes during the 2024 CFL Regular Season. This time the Calgary Stampeders starting special teams is being introduced for the first time this season.
This game was also indigenous celebration and featured the national anthem sung in Blackfoot language and special coin toss with tribe leaders of all the Treaty 7 in the Calgary area.
Calgary Stampeders we're wearing their black jerseys but with helmets with the special indigenous themed logo. See that on the flag for Quick Six as well which is a nice logo given the indigenous meaning.
Both teams had to settle for a 19-19 tie when it was all said and done.
