When all is said and done Serena Williams will go down not only as one of the greatest tennis players but one of the greatest athletes of all time. There are not many professional tennis players that play past the age of 30, but Williams is almost 40 and still dominating the competition.

Williams is still playing at a high level while also starting various business ventures and being a mom. She may be one the most recognizable tennis player today, but that was not always the case for Williams.

Serena Williams came from humble beginnings and had to overcome her fair share of obstacles before becoming one of the world’s greatest tennis players.
