Today we cook recipe we call here as KHAJA. This CRISPY KHAJA RECIPE is delicious and the very easy to cook instantly. Also KHAJA is a very famous desert of ODISHA that's why it is call "ODIA KHAJA". A visit to PURI, a coastal town in ODISH, is incomplete without relishing the mouth-watering ‘MAHAPRASADA OF LORD JAGANNATH’ and An integral part of the ‘MAHAPRASADA’ of the holy TRINITY, JAGANNA, BLABHADRA & SUBHADRA, the “PURI KHAJA”.
So here we make that SPECIAL KHAJA/PURI KHAJA recipe in our own style just have a look we also share some tips and tricks to make A PERFECT KHAJA.

Khaja Recipe:-
Flour dough -
1 big cup - Refined Flour / ১ বড়ো কাপ - ময়দা
A little bit - Salt / অল্প - লবণ
5-6 Tbsp - Ghee / ৫-৬ টেবিল চামচ - ঘি
Cold water - As required / ঠান্ডা জল - যতোটা প্রয়োজন
Sugar Syrup -
1.5 cups - Sugar / ১.৫ কাপ - চিনি
1 cup - Water / ১ কাপ - জল
1 Tbsp - Lemon juice / ১ টেবিল চামচ - লেবুর রস
2 nos. - Green Cardamom / ২ টো - ছোট এলাচ
Few strands of Saffron / অল্প কেশর
For Khaja -
3-4 Tbsp - Ghee / ৩-৪ টেবিল চামচ - ঘি
Refined flour / ময়দা
Refined Oil - As required / সাদা তেল - যতোটা প্রয়োজন
