Headed from Tucson this past weekend to support the Colorado Avalanche in a preseason match up against the Dallas Stars! The flight from Tucson was one of the smoothest I've ever experienced—the landing felt like we touched down on butter.

We booked Main Cabin Extra on American Airlines, and it was surprisingly comfy. My wife and I were lucky enough to have an empty seat between us, which is always a win. I’m a window seat kind of guy (for the views, of course), while she prefers the aisle, so we often book seats apart. Sometimes that strategy really pays off! No worries about that when you’re in business or first class, though.

As for the game, the Avs faced off against the Stars and came up short. They only had two starters on the ice, with the rest being from their feeder leagues. Meanwhile, Dallas brought out some of their stars—no pun intended! Overall, it was a fantastic game, and it’s great to have hockey back in our lives!
