Just had a pretty uneventful flight from Tucson to San Diego on a one-year-old Southwest Airlines 737 Max 8. Before boarding, I treated myself to some tacos and a gin and tonic at Sir Veza's, so I was feeling great and ready for the trip. Thanks to my early bird check-in, I scored my favorite seat, 16A, which has no seat in front and offers an amazing window view. With only about 75 passengers on board out of 175, I was expecting a quick, rocket-like takeoff—and it didn’t disappoint!

San Diego’s approach was stunning, especially coming in for runway 27 from the left side of the plane. You’ll definitely want to check out that footage in my next video! The landing was smooth, and the reverse thrusters kicked in strong, allowing us to exit the runway quickly. Overall, a great flight! Now, it's time to check in and grab a brew from a local brewery!
