It's raining SUVs again. Jeep, Hyundai, Kia, MG, Renault, other launches that we haven't been invited to. Which probably means there are thirty more!

The Jeep Compass Trailhawk finally answers the question, "why the f*&k can't you guys give us a diesel automatic?". The Trailhawk has a 9-speed ("yeh le bc -- 9 gear!") auto and significantly enhanced 4x4 capabilities. A new rock mode, better underbody protection and 27mm higher ground clearance, which means it's capable of completing Jeep's tough Rubicon Trail in California. But the true test will be the Mumbai monsoon and speed breakers. We have volunteered for long-term testing. Stay tuned.
