I finally get it. For years I've wondered why Sagar walks around the track like his mother never bought him full pants, but now I know -- shorts are just so damn comfortable and practical in the usual heat we're riding in! Be like Sagar. Go do Decathlon and buy several shorts immediately.

(Not sponsored by Decathlon, but ready and willing. Decathlon, call me. Please.)

Oh, also: the KTM 125 Duke is an excellent beginner bike, if you don't just want to buy a soul-crushing commuter that gives you 145km/litre. It's got the sort of dynamic ability that blew us away in 2013 with the KTM 390 Duke, but with none of the hair-raising performance. It's also smooth and practical. A great learner bike, and a great track training tool! Expensive, but so are good full pants.
