Dr Peter Attia says VO2 max is the most important number for predicting how long a person will live. More than any other biomarker. When I learned this I realized I should probably work on improving my own VO2 max. I this video I talk about how I have been working on this and explain how you can too.

NOTE: Using a fitness watch to calculate VO2 max is not the most accurate. It CAN be close and give you a very good idea of where you're at in that regard AND it can help you see if you're making progress. If you want to be 100% accurate you need to do an actual VO2 max test.

You DON'T have to be training to go to the Grand Canyon to work on improving your Vo2 max. Anyone can do it with a little effort and consistent dedication. If longevity and health span are important to you and Dr Attia is right, then improving Vo2 max is very important. I hope this video helps.
