Living alone in the countryside once a week. Today, a friend from Singapore came to visit. Here, I grow vegetables and flowers in the garden, read books, and enjoy my free time. However, this is an old house that no one lives in anymore. It's a life without air conditioning.

Knowing this, it's interesting to come up with ways to enjoy using this old house, and I have been able to discover joys and pleasures that I never expected when I lived here when I was young.

I think there are many people who have old houses that they don't know what to do with, but even without spending money on renovations, it is possible to make it a comfortable living space with some clever ideas.

While it may not be helpful, I hope you can consider this way of living.

Now, today my friend from Singapore came to visit. Her friend also came along, and I'm excited to clean up and prepare meals to welcome them.

I was worried because I can't speak English well, but I have a translation app, so I should be able to manage somehow.

When I met them, I found out that her friend is fluent in Japanese. That's a relief!

But I made a big mistake. Her friend is from Egypt and doesn't eat pork for religious reasons. However, I inadvertently served pork for lunch. It was very rude of me. Luckily, I also had fish prepared.

With all these things happening, we welcomed our guests. Despite our different ages, nationalities, and religions, we discovered many commonalities and were able to have a good time together.

Unexpectedly, my cousin, who happened to stop by, also joined the conversation and it became even more interesting.

Thank you very much to both my friend and my cousin!
