Living alone in the countryside once a week is a leisurely and carefree time where I can cultivate vegetables and flowers in a small garden, read books, and enjoy myself. However, this is an old house that no one lives in anymore, and there is no air conditioning.

Knowing this, I still find ways to enjoy using the old house, and it is interesting to discover pleasures and joys that I never imagined when I lived here in my younger days.

I think there are many people who don't know what to do with their old houses, but I believe that you can make it livable without spending money on remodeling.

It may not be helpful to you, but I would be grateful if you could consider that there are lifestyles like this.

I mixed kitchen waste with compost and added red soil from the garden to make compost. It was my first attempt, but I was so thrilled to see the red soil turn into dark, crumbly compost. I immediately used the compost to plant perennial flowers for the spring flowerbed.

For the doll, Bis-kun, a viewer kindly knitted a sweater. The initial "B" is also knitted into it. Please watch the video where we introduce it. It fits Bis-kun perfectly and looks very nice. With this, we can spend a warm winter. Thank you very much. Bis-kun and I are very happy.

Now, let's talk about the grass cutting in the former field that started last week. After thinking calmly, it seems that I still need a large electric grass cutter. I'm thinking of renting one, but if someone nearby can help, I would appreciate it. Even just teaching me how to use it would be greatly welcomed. I was planning to do it alone, but if I know how to use it, I will try little by little!
