After living with Addison's Disease for 10 years I experienced my first adrenal crisis. It was the scariest night of my life.
My first MAJOR adrenal crisis came on suddenly without warning. I was confused about what was happening. Violent vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain and extreme weakness.

My little dog knew mommy was sick and helped alert help. Paramedics arrived who had DAYS before training on the adrenal crisis. I was given SOLU-CORTEF IV bedside because I was prepared for the situation.

In the middle of covid, I was strapped to a chair and carried out of my house in the middle of the night. I went to the hospital alone hoping I would come back.
