Today I'm making Resurrection Rolls--the perfect breakfast treat for Easter. Inside the flaky crescent roll dough is a marshmallow that disappears as it bakes. This symbolizes Jesus no longer being in the tomb when the stone is removed--He is Risen! Happy Easter everyone!

RESURRECTION ROLLS
2 pkgs. crescent roll dough
1/2 stick unsalted butter, melted
1/4 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
16 marshmallows

Preheat oven to 375*. Separate the crescent rolls onto greased or lined baking trays. Mix the cinnamon and sugar together in a bowl. Dip each marshmallow into the melted butter then roll in the cinnamon sugar mixture. Place the coated marshmallow onto the crescent roll dough. Wrap the dough around the marshmallow pinching the sides so there are no openings. Drizzle any remaining butter over top. Bake at 375* for 14-15 minutes or until golden brown.
