The video for “Ramu Kaka” draws inspiration from an elderly man seen by Vasu in Mysore as a child, who would wear a suit, carry a walking stick, and don a Mysore Peta. There is also a deep influence from R.K. Laxman’s “The Common Man” and R.K. Narayan’s “Malgudi Days,” both of which capture simplicity and innocence while navigating life’s adversities. The entire video was shot in Mysore, a hometown that still possesses a small-town charm along with majestic old-world elegance.
