Hello friends, welcome back to Kavi's Lifestyle! In today's video, I'll be showing you how to make a delicious and authentic Kadai Paneer recipe. This flavorful dish is a perfect blend of soft paneer cubes, aromatic spices, and a rich, tangy tomato base. Whether you're a seasoned cook or just starting out, this recipe is simple to follow and guaranteed to impress!

Ingredients:

- Paneer cubes – 1 cup
- Onion – 1 (finely chopped), 3 (roughly chopped)
- Tomato – 3 (roughly chopped)
- Coriander – 3 tsp
- Pepper – 1 tsp
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Fennel seeds – 1 1/2 tsp
- Star anise – 1-2
- Cinnamon – 2 sticks
- Cloves – 7
- Kal pasi – 2 pieces
- Bay leaf – 1
- Oil – 5 tbsp
- Ghee-1 tsp
- Palm sugar-1 tsp
- Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- Chilli powder – 1 tsp
- Kashmiri chilli powder – 2 tsp
- Garam masala – 1 tsp
- Kasturi methi – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste

Kadai Paneer Recipe | Step-by-Step Guide | Kavi's Lifestyle

Today, I'll be taking you through a detailed step-by-step process of making a mouth-watering Kadai Paneer. This rich and flavorful dish combines the goodness of paneer with a perfect blend of spices, making it an ideal accompaniment to naan, roti, chapathi, or even rice.

Preparation Steps:

Step 1:
- In a kadai, dry roast the coriander seeds, cumin seeds, fennel seeds, and pepper together.
- Next, dry roast the star anise, cloves, and cinnamon separately.

Step 2:
- In a pan, heat 2 tsp of oil and sauté 2 roughly chopped onions and 2 roughly chopped tomatoes together.
- Set them aside to cool to room temperature. Add 1 tsp of kasakasa before grinding.
- Grind all these ingredients in a mixie jar into a fine paste.

Step 3:
- Sauté the following ingredients separately:
- One roughly chopped onion
- One roughly chopped tomato
- Paneer cubes
- Keep them aside separately.

Step 4:
- In the same pan, add 2 tsp of oil, 1/2 tsp of fennel seeds, 1 bay leaf, and pieces of kalpasi. Sauté nicely.
- Add the ground paste and a glass of water. Allow it to boil for 3 minutes on medium flame.
- Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, garam masala, salt, and a pinch of asafoetida. Cook for 5 minutes.
- Add the sautéed onion, tomato, and paneer cubes. Add another glass of water and allow it to boil for 5 minutes.
- Add a spoonful of jaggery powder, sugar, or palm sugar to enhance the taste.
- Finish by adding a spoonful of ghee, butter, or fresh cream for a rich and glowing finish.
- Finally, crush a tsp of kasturi methi and sprinkle it into the gravy.

Serve this tasty restaurant-style Kadai Paneer with naan, roti, chapathi, ghee rice, or coconut milk rice. Your delicious dish is ready to enjoy!
