Mint sauce is an English classic. A wonder ! Traditionally served with lamb ... but you can use it with any grilled meat, it brings incredible freshness! This is the simple mint sauce recipe but you can add chilli, plain yogurt and etc. I also use it to eat alongside my mashed peas and fish and chips etc. Perfect for spring / summer. It can be kept for 2 days maximum in the fridge but I advise you to make it at the last minute anyway. Good tasting !

Ingredients:
8 sprigs of fresh mint to wash (2 cups)
2 tablespoons of sugar
2 tablespoons of water
1 tablespoon of white vinegar
Optional: 1/3 of 1 lemon juice
1 pinch of salt
