Night and day time-lapse captured on November 16, 2019 of the large bush fire in the Cunninghams Gap and Main Range area SW of Brisbane Australia as severe drought continued. The fire started in September 2019 and has burned many thousands of hectares of native bush land and rain forest. (Yes, rain forest - that's how dry it has been). The fire continues to burn as I post this (December 7). The footage was shot at Tarome, just north east of the fires but well out of harm's way.

Hats off to the brave men and women who have been fighting and containing this fire in trying conditions. Unfortunately, mostly dry and hot weather looks likely to continue...
