Description:
Early in my teens I fell in love with rocks. I set myself a goal to capture the true character of rocks in my art. Since then I have spent countless hours studying rocks and their endless variation as they interact with color, light and shadow.
Wether they play a major or supporting role in our compositions, our rendition of them should always be believable. Understanding their structure and characteristics is the answer to achieving this.
In this workshop I will be sharing what my years of studying rocks has revealed to me and the techniques I have developed to portray those characteristics in my art.
