Thank you for watching my Aaron Franklin brisket secret ingredient video. There is a rumor that Aaron Franklin uses beef tallow on his brisket and that it's his best kept secret ...kind of like his salt and pepper seasoning only...wink wink! All I can say is that there was a noticeable difference in the flavor of the brisket where I used Wagyu beef tallow as a binder and also in the wrap. I will definitely be doing this again! I went to Franklin BBQ a couple of years ago and I was the first in line. The brisket was my favorite by far.
