I LOVE Bose headphones but the QC45's just aren't good enough for me even at the discounted price. If better sound is what you're looking for in this price range, my choice would be the Bowers & Wilkins PX7 or, annoyingly, the Airpods Pro 2. I guess a "good deal" isn't always that good of a deal.

Bose QC45 UPDATE: someone suggested that I try to update the firmware of the QC45 to see if there might be any improvements. While there were no updates available, I found that using Bose’s EQ app greatly improves on the music experience of the 45’s. While I’m happy that I am able to adjust it I still don’t think I’ll be keeping them. To reiterate, the QC45’s sound GOOD! Just not good enough for me to keep them if I have the PX7’s.
