🎬 Almost two years ago, Mark Fisher disappeared without a trace when his house was engulfed by an intense blue light. His friend Seth Hampton was the last person to see him alive. Mark (Josh Ethier) and Seth (Graham Skipper) are best friends and live in the small town of Patten in Maine, USA. In the autumn of 1987, the quiet life of the local population is suddenly thrown off track by strange events. Blue, bright lights appear in the sky and people disappear. Seth and Mark, however, do not believe the rumors about aliens and UFOs and pursue their usual interests. As they are drinking a beer together at Mark's, as they often do, the power suddenly goes out and the host is caught in a mysterious blue light. He disappears before his friend's eyes. However, neither the police nor Mark's girlfriend Jen (Vanessa Leigh) believe the young man's statements. Two years pass in which Seth has to struggle alone with the loss of his best friend. When a serial killer starts wreaking havoc in the town, Seth believes that his friend could be behind it. Has Mark perhaps returned to Earth and is now possessed by evil?
