There are times when we need to get a power source on a temporary basis for a variety of reasons, but we must remember that extension cords are not permanent solutions for a power source. Once you determine that need for power to be more than just temporary, it's time to do the job right. Too often these temporary solutions stay in place way too long!
In this video I install an outdoor receptacle to eliminate the need for an extension cord. I share some tips on using a fish tape correctly, including the tricks I use when dealing with a length of conduit that has 90 degree bends, as well as pointers on how to maintain your fish tape.
