First things first, we will need to go over how to download texture packs for 1.21. There is a link in the description above to our list of the best Minecraft 1.21 texture packs. This has all kinds of different 1.21 texture packs from realistic resource packs to cartoon resource packs to even texture packs that keep things true to Minecraft 1.21.

The download process is different for every 1.21 texture pack, but make sure any texture pack that you download is for the Minecraft 1.21 version otherwise, you may have issues when you install your resource pack.

We can now move on to how to install texture packs for Minecraft 1.21 on PC. This starts off by opening Minecraft 1.21. Then, from the Minecraft main select “Options” and “Resource Packs”. Here you will see a “Packs Folder” button on the bottom left. Click this and your “resourcepacks” folder will open.

Drag-and-drop and Minecraft texture packs you want to install in 1.21 into this resourcepacks folder. When you do this, you will be able to see them in the “Available” section. Hover over them there and click the arrow that appears to move them into the “Selected” section.

When you click “Done”, your Minecraft 1.21 texture packs will be installed. You can select multiple resource packs at the same time and stack them on top of each other. This is great for weapon packs or when using older Minecraft texture packs with 1.21 as you can add the older pack over a newer pack and any textures the resource pack on top is missing will be picked up by the 1.21 texture pack under it.
