In this video I will show some parts I have 3D printed and been using successfully in my Ryobi 40v Lawn Tractor Conversion, as well a comparison of the Ryobi brushless motors to Husqvarna brushless motors. A future video will show these parts being installed and how they work in the machine. All of these parts are for the drive system, which I recently had problems with. The original design used a V-Belt, which required too much tension. That caused premature bearing failure. I thought cog belts would work better. But I couldn't find a pulley that would fit. So I made one on my 3D printer. I also decided to take on the project of building a 3D printed motor mount that would be strong, but also aid in motor cooling. This will make future conversions easier, and help anyone else who wants to try this. However, these parts are made by someone who just taught themselves how to use Autodesk Fusion a few months ago. So you use them at your own risk. I cannot guarantee that they will work well, or for how long. But so far they are working good for me. I used PETG plastic with a 40% hexagon infill, 4 shells, and 4 solid top & bottom layers. No rafts. Supports are needed on the 20T pulleys and the motor mount, but not the pedal riser or the 72T pulley.
