After travelling around central Alberta for a good portion of the day, filming a couple other videos for our channels, we stopped at Diplomat Mine Interpretive Site for a bit of an adventure. The site includes The Marion 360 from the 1920's as well as fossilized tree stumps found in the mine site. The trees the stumps are from trees now known to typically grow in the Florida Everglades. These were among other pieces of Albertan history located here. There is also a trout pond located just across the highway.
