Daniel and I (Starr) Hiked with our samoyed Aspen up Harvey Mountain. It's a steep yet rewarding hike that offers many views of the surrounding mountain ranges. The Babine Mountains Provincial Park is located just outside of Smithers, BC. The Provincial Park offers a ton of hiking options ranging from a day hike to a multi day trek. There are a ton of amazing backpacking destinations throughout the park, and many amazing places to camp. Daniel and went on an overnight hike last summer in these mountains, we had the most amazing time camping under the stars with views of the northern lights. Our Dog Aspen had a blast in the patches of snow that were still remaining, she decided to roll around and slide down it. Harvey Mountains is a shorter steep hike that takes you to a plateau where you can explore around and take in the amazing views! There were a lot of little flowers trying to make their way up, later in the year the area is covered in many beautiful flowers. We had a nice lunch at the top, explored around, then headed back down. We had an amazing time! The views of the mountains are incredible. We took some B-roll and made this video a little cinematic. We hope you enjoy!
