Drum Set is intimidating for wind instrument music educators. Even concert percussionists are unsure about drum set. I truly believe that drum set is one of the best things to teach a percussionist. On average there are not a lot opportunities for concert percussionists in rural areas, but there is drum set opportunities. This is just an introduction into the series about drum set I am going to be going through. This is done in an angle that I hope helps music educators better understand what this instrument is.
