On December 16, 2023, 01 1104 pulled a special train from Vienenburg to Erfurt, where passengers could visit the Christmas market. 01 1104 then drove to its new home in the German Steam Locomotive Museum in Neuenmarkt-Wirsberg.
We accompanied the train from Vienenburg to Hönebach.
