New ballast was needed for the connecting line to the Staßfurt railway depot.
So what could be more obvious than to pick up the 1200 tonne gravel train in Flechtingen with our own steam locomotives? 44 1486 and 50 3695 gave their all before the heavy train and gave the fans who traveled an impressive day.
