Every writer knows about the Call to Adventure, but there is a more important beat (in my opinion), hidden at the end of Act One in every well-told story. I call it, "Raising the Stakes on the Call to Adventure." I know, it doesn't exactly roll off the tongue, but it's so important... it's what I named this channel after.
