This's the first time I do full body scan with CR Scan Otter. (Mostly done only the head shot) Here's what I found.
Turn table is not necessary. It will throw the subject out of balance while scanning. Standing 2 feet on firm ground and move the scanner around subject seem to give better result.
Long loose dress is not ideal. It will move and hard to fix in post processing.
Agree with your subject to stay still, keep arms, legs and head static position. Otter scans fast. It'll take only a minute to scan full body.
Do not export PLY mesh into Blender. It will crash, this is software bug from CR Scan Software (3.2.14)
