3D scanning is a huge part of reverse engineering, to be able to get accurate data to be able to reverse engineer a part or just get dimensions to design a whole new part. I tried out Creality's brand new 3d scanner the CR-Scan Otter which to my surprise fixed a lot of issues that the Ferret had and also had some software updates which helped with the 3D scanning process.
