Today was an early morning adventure. I originally planned to take you guys to my favorite beach in San Juan but due to a marathon going on, I had to change plans. Instead I went straight for Viejo San Juan and got to really explore a lot of scenic spots. This was my first time out there so early in the morning and let me tell you, Viejo San Juan is a totally different vibe at this time! If you want peace and tranquility I recommend going super early, the only thing is that not too many stores are open but walking, visiting monuments, parks, etc. are the ideal things to do.

Here we briefly stopped at El Morro, then we drove up the brick paved roads of Viejo San Juan. Then we stopped at a spot called Puerta de San Juan which is a historic monument on the Island. And on our way back we also visited Parque de Las Palomas, a very quiet park that had herds of street pigeons and doves.
