I'm Ken Pataky, Holistic Psychotherapist & Transformational Life & Health Coach as well as Certified HeartMath Facilitator. This recording is a 15-18-minute Heart Coherence Meditation, based on the Heart Coherence technique at the HeartMath Institute and the yoga nidra I've studied and practiced over many years as a yoga practitioner and instructor.

The purpose of this technique is to bring more awareness to how you’re feeling in your body and also emotionally to allow your brain and your thoughts to come back into coherence or synchronicity with your feelings and your body (the heart is often called the 2nd brain). This technique will allow you to overcome the fight or flight response and transfer control back to your parasympathetic nervous system, returning your mind, heart, and body to a state of calm and peace. Listen to this recording when you are upset, need to make an important decision, or just want to learn and practice living with your mind working together rather than against each other. Or just practice it before bed or upon waking to improve your heart coherence generally.
