One of my goals this year has been to learn photography. With that goal in mind, back in February, I planned an early-summer trip to Joshua Tree National Park to hike and take some pictures.

Little did I know it would end up being the hottest weekend of the year so far! With triple-digit heat, I had to make some adjustments to the plan. In this video, I discuss strategies, takeaways, and what I'm learning so far about taking photographs in the parks.
