¡El camino a Rusia ya ha comenzado! 208 combinados nacionales de 6 confederaciones distintas pelearán durante 3 años por ser una de las 31 selecciones que se unan a la anfitriona Rusia en el próximo Mundial. En WorldCupGoals, os mostraremos su lucha con el fin último de éste bello deporte: el gol.

En ésta entrega, os ofrecemos la 1ª ronda de la clasificación oceánica. Ésta ronda sirve también como fase previa de la Copa de las Naciones de Oceanía, cuya fase de grupos determinará los 6 equipos que se enfrentarán en la ronda final para jugar el playoff intercontinental. Los 4 equipos con peor ranking FIFA se enfrentaron en agosto y septiembre de 2015 en Tonga en un grupo a 3 jornadas. El ganador se uniría a los 7 equipos ya clasificados en la fase de grupos del torneo continental en junio de 2016, la cual será la 2ª ronda de la clasificación oceánica.

Aquí podrás ver los primeros triunfos de las Islas Cook ante equipos FIFA en partidos mundialistas y el disputado duelo entre las 2 Samoas, tanto en su partido como en la clasificación final, donde sólo un gol separó la gloria del fracaso.

¡The Road to Russia is on! 208 national teams from 6 different confederations will have a 3 year-battle to be one of the 31 nations that will join Russia in the next World Cup. In WorldCupGoals, we will show you his struggle with the ultimate goal of this beautiful game: goals.

In this installment, we will show you the 1st Round of Oceanian Qualifiers. This round serves also as a qualifying round for the OFC Nations Cup, whose group stage will decide the 6 teams that will battle in the final round for a spot in the intercontinental playoffs. The 4 teams with a lower FIFA ranking faced each other in August and September 2015 in Tonga in a 3-matchdays Group Stage. The winner would join the 7 teams already qualified in the Group Stage of the continental tournament in June 2016, which will be the 2nd Round of Oceanian Qualifiers.

Here you will see the first wins of the Cook Islands against FIFA teams in a World Cup qualifying match, and the dispute between the 2 Samoas, both in their match and in the final clasification, where only a goal separated glory from failure.
