¡El camino a Rusia ya ha comenzado! 208 combinados nacionales de 6 confederaciones distintas pelearán durante 3 años por ser una de las 31 selecciones que se unan a la anfitriona Rusia en el próximo Mundial. En WorldCupGoals, os mostraremos su lucha con el fin último de éste bello deporte: el gol.

Con la única ausencia de la sancionada Zimbabue, la fase de clasificación africana dio comienzo en octubre de 2015. Organizados los restantes 53 equipos por el ranking FIFA de julio de 2015, los 26 con peor posición se enfrentaron entre sí en la 1ª ronda. Los 13 ganadores se suman a los 27 combinados restantes en la 2ª ronda, de la que salen los 20 equipos que disputan la fase de grupos final.

En esta entrega, podrás ver (siempre que los cámaras lo permitan) la sorprendente eliminación de Sierra Leona ante Chad (más o menos...), el histórico triunfo de Liberia fuera de casa y los pequeños logros de naciones como Sudán del Sur o Santo Tomé y Príncipe, amén de algunas goleadas.

With the only absence of the expelled Zimbabwean team, the African Qualifiers got underway on October 2015. After the 53 competing teams were seeded by the FIFA ranking of July 2015, the 26 lower placed countries faced each other in the 1st Round.
