Dharmavaram Sisters' (Mahathi & Pranati's ) rendition of a devotional song on Lord Shiva !!!

An extraordinary devotional song in Kannada language written by Sri Malleswram Madhusudhana Rao ji (from Bangalore).

He has written many devotional songs in Kannada with 'Ankita Mudra' as 'Venkatanatha' !!

He shared the lyrics of this song through Whatsapp to me and asked me to set the tune for it with any suitable raga by my daughters Mahathi and Pranati !!

They were somehow bit busy with their academics, (online classes and pending Board exams for Mahathi etc).

So I took the responsibility to tune this devotional song.

Initially I thought of composing the tune for this song in Yamuna Kalyani but later changed my mind and set the song in 'Chandra Kauns' raga (also called Chandrika in Carnatic music) .

Later Dharmavaram sisters set this composition to 'Khanda Chapu' Tala and sang it.
