Today (05 December 2020) is "WORLD SOIL DAY".

In 2002, the International Union of Soil Sciences (IUSS) made a resolution proposing the 5th of December be World Soil Day in order to celebrate the importance of soil as a critical component of the natural system and as a vital contributor to human well being.

World Soil Day (WSD) is held annually on 5 December as a means to focus attention on the importance of healthy soil as the soil biodiversity is under threat.

As a mark of respect for this auspicious and an imporatant day, Mahathi & Pranati (Dharmavaram Sisters) are presenting their rendition of a Dasarapada composed by SANGEETHA PITAMAHA of Carnatic Music SRI PURANDARA DASA !!!
