Making accurate crosscuts on wide boards on the table saw is easy if you build your own table saw crosscut sled, and all you need is a plywood base a plastic miter slot blank and wood fence that will not warp or bend that you can ensure is stable by gluing a couple of pieces of wood together to make a stable fence for your cross cut sled.
