One of the first carbon-plated shoes to follow on the heels of the Vaporfly, the Carbon X has carved an interesting niche in the Hoka lineup. We loved last year's version and thought it was a big improvement over version one. And then there's the Carbon X 3, with a knit upper that– quite simply– does not work for us. A knit upper can be great if done right, but when it's done wrong, it's really wrong. Watch the review for our full thoughts. Available Spring 2022 for $200.
