The North Sea is one of the most popular holiday destinations for Germans! One of the most famous and interesting vacation spots on the mainland is St. Peter Ording. There are around one million holidaymakers for every 4,000 inhabitants each year. With its twelve kilometer long and two kilometer wide sandy beach, the seaside resort offers ideal conditions for relaxation, but also for sporting activities. In addition to Sylt, St. Peter Ording is considered the German Mecca for kite surfers.

What does a holiday on the North Sea cost and what can tourists expect? Daniel Assmann tries it out and calculates it. From the accommodation to the food to the excursion program. He checks the holiday home, campsite and hotel, does kite surfing, bicycle coastal tours and boat trips with crab coils.
