Screening at Korean Academy of Film Arts promotion 34th's graduation films festival, January 27-28th 2018


** ME AND KAFA **
As the only foreigner to attend KAFA, I spent at that intensive school a surprising and difficult - yet very interesting - year... I learnt a lot and made some nice connexions.

As a French freelance director who studied more about the theory of cinema and the artistic images, I came to Korea to be "in the wild field" and that is exactly what happened at KAFA, and what continue to be happening. It is hard but I am glad I made that choice. I will keep studying through the pain and passion of cinema, of Korea, of Korean cinema.

European people told me that this movie looks Asian, and Asian people told me that it looks European aha... I guess I will always be in the middle, trying to express my complex relationship with the world.
