We all know what it feels to experience FOMO during summer. Whether it's missing out on a concert or seeing others you know on thrilling vacations. At times it can get disheartening thinking you're missing out on the elevated summer experience because of your budget restrictions. Although you may not be able to book a ticket to Bora Bora this summer, we're here to give you the ultimate guide on how to enjoy your summer on a budget, because not all of us can afford to board first class. Remember, the best summer experiences often come from the simple pleasures and connections you make, rather than extravagant spending. With some creativity and thoughtful planning, you can have a memorable and enjoyable summer without straining your budget.

Plan Ahead: by outlining your goals, interest, and budget for this summer, it will help you have a better understanding of how to effectively spend. Also considering looking at various options and locations if you're looking for a specific activity will help you find one that's a better fit for your price range.

Outdoor activities: if there's something about us, it's always advocate for outdoor activities. Whether it's a simple walk through the park, hiking, beaches, and lakes, there's a guarantee these activities will be low-cost or free and provide opportunities for wellness and recreation. Walks in the park can always be spontaneous and I recommend going on walks when you may feel overwhelmed at home and need a break or you are feeling a little unproductive. Bring a book, a sketch book, a journal and find nice parks in your area.

Beach days can be something you do with family or friends. Beach days can be full day activities so make sure to bring lots of food and drinks, activities such as volleyballs or paints and canvases, and don't forget sunscreen:) and if you're like us who don't live on the coast a lake is considered the beach here so the same is applicable.

Picnics: Find a park near you and plan a picnic with your friends. You can do fun challenges like each friend brings different colour foods or you can have a themed picnic or simply bring your favourite snacks. You can also dress up and take cute pictures so that's always a plus!

Take advantage of city or community events: if you live in a major metropolitan city there are always free or low cost events going weekly. Things you may want to look into are outdoor
