Just a rough cut that I never quite finished of my friend driving his 2012 VW Golf R in the canyons near Malibu, CA. Youll notice where it gets weird. This exhaust sound is from a 2012 Golf R with less than 10k miles on it. The exhaust has opened up further since the filming of this video and has a bit more 'bass' than it did at time of filming.

2012 VW Golf R is a great car and runs very fast in the twisties! Be sure to stay in your own lane and observe the speed limits on public roads, especially Mulholland!
