Captain's crossing has been on our Mackay bucket list for quite a while now, and we finally ticked it off the list! The campsite is only accessible by 4x4, is dog-friendly and just over an hour out of Mackay CBD. After a fun morning exploring Mia Mia State forest we grabbed some pies from The Pinnacle Family Hotel for lunch and headed to one of our favourite spots at Cattle Creek.
